They work with students to answer the industry's most pressing questions in the sector, through industry-linked business briefs and research. We work to ensure that high welfare standards are at the forefront of the equestrian sport and wider equine industry. As a Hartpury equine student, you’ll learn from the latest scientific research underpinning training, behaviour and welfare. You’ll graduate with the expertise to drive change and improve the equine industry. You’ll have access to facilities used by some of Gloucestershire’s best equine athletes, including the most advanced Rider Performance Centre in the world at an academic institution. Learn from leading industry figures and have plenty of opportunities to gain skills for employment, both on and off campus. Our students and graduates work with big name brands in the equine industry and beyond, such as NAF, British Horseracing Authority, Coca Cola, Ecotricity, Grandstand Media, The Jockey Club and Horse & Hound . Depending on your course, you could gain experience in our commercial Equine Therapy Centre, as well as at our 2, 3 and 4* eventing facilities that host world-class events each year. You could volunteer at our Hartpury Festival of Dressage, International Hartpury Horse Trials, and Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular, to develop your professional experience and connections for the future. Home to the 2020 FEI Dressage and Eventing European Championships for Young Riders and Juniors and the 2020 International Society for Equitation Science Conference – we’re a hub for industry research and major events.
