This practical course will give you the experience required to progress into hands-on yard management, top-level groom roles or coordinator positions within an organisation or industry governing body. You’ll focus on maximising equine performance through training, management and nutrition. Industry-focused modules will develop your professional profile and prepare you to make important decisions in your chosen career. In your first year, you’ll study a wide range of topics as you assess current industry practices. You’ll then tailor your studies to suit your interests and career goals. Industry opportunities A compulsory work placement and optional integrated placement year on this degree will enable you to gain essential industry experience. You could work on our own livery yard, at one of our annual international equine events or at international competition yards. This course is ideal for those who are passionate about working with horses in competition and have the drive to improve quality standards and welfare for performance horses. the latest industry practices and undertakework-based learning.
