• Make yourself at home – decorate your room with your favourite pictures and posters. Make sure you use white tack if you’re sticking them up on the walls. • Help is at hand – if anything happens over the weekend, you can contact the Duty Warden on 07768 091041. • Grab some cash – your nearest cashpoints are in Legends student bar and next to Graze restaurant. They’re free to use. • Go shopping – your nearest large supermarket is Tesco in Gloucester. Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s are all close by too. • Stay connected – you’ll have a wired network point for internet access in your room. If you need to get an Ethernet cable, pop into Student Services. • IT support – your IT Help Desk is in the Student Zone near Student Services. Our friendly team are here to help you with any IT problems. Living off site If you’re living off site, make sure you get involved in all the Freshers’ fun happening here on campus. You’ll get a special discounted rate with Andy Cars during Freshers’ Week. Simply quote ‘Hartpury Freshers’ Week’ when you get in the car, or when you book your taxi. A bus service from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Bishop’s Cleeve and Cheltenham operates regularly during term time. This costs between £1.70 and £2.20 for a single journey and between £2.70 and £3.50 for a return journey. You’ll get a discounted rate if you buy 10 tickets in advance. You’ll be able to pick up the current bus timetable and charges from the Transport Office and Student Services.
