Wednesday 19 September Paint the Town Red pub crawl, start at Legends, 8pm (don’t be late, you might miss the transport) £15 Your ticket includes your T-shirt, your first drink in Legends, bus into Gloucester and entry into all the major clubs. Wednesday is the big night in town, so we’re taking you through it step by step, or at least bar by bar. We’ll meet at Legends where we’ll start you off with a free drink and a special T-shirt. Then the bus will take you into town. The Students’ Union team will take you to the hot spots where you’ll find special drinks offers and a sneak preview of what Gloucester has to offer. We’ll finish the night in ATIK – the only place to be on a Wednesday evening! Thursday 20 September Big Chill, Legends, 9pm FREE Time for you to rest and recover in Legends. We’ll keep you fed and watered, along with some lollies for refreshment. Wear your onesie, bring your duvet and snuggle down to watch a movie while you recharge your battery ready for the final night of Freshers’ fun! Friday 21 September Frat Party (bring your own drinking vessel), Legends, 9pm, £3 We think we’ve seen it all before – wellies, skulls, baked bean cans, shoes, watering cans, jerry cans, you name it! Can you prove us wrong? Use your imagination and bring the most original drinking vessel while you join in the Friday frat party and become beer pong champion! Saturday 22 September Cheltenham trip, meet at the main car park at 1pm, FREE After a full week of socialising and getting to know each other and your new surroundings, why not escape campus for a few hours and explore Cheltenham to see what it has to offer? The free mini bus leaves the main car park at 1pm and we’ll be running shuttle buses back all afternoon. Sunday 23 September Bristol shopping trip, meet at the main car park at 10am, £3.50 Join us for a shopping trip to Bristol with your new uni mates. Chances are that after living in your new room for a week, you’ll realise that you’ve forgotten to bring something you need. We’ll be swinging by IKEA on the way into Bristol so you can jump out and pick it up. Your academic induction Don’t forget to check your joining instructions to find out when and where your academic enrolment is taking place.
