HARTPURY_UNIVERSITY_STUDENT_SUPPORT_GUIDE_2025_ENTRY
Disability and learning support At Hartpury, we're committed to responding to individual learning support and disability needs, and take pride in the outstanding level of support we can offer our students. Meeting with learning support early is key and it is important to note that any support from earlier education does not automatically transfer to university. We can offer comprehensive support to students with a specific learning difference, such as dyslexia, ADHD or dyspraxia, a physical or sensory impairment, a medical or mental health condition or Autistic Spectrum Condition.
Support available: •
Informal advice and guidance
• Screening and full assessments for specific learning differences • Guidance with funding and applications for Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs) – the Government funding scheme for support in higher education • Creating a learning profile with you to share with those supporting you at Hartpury • Examination access arrangements, such as additional time
