Holly Metcalfe Agriculture

“You can take your agriculture degree anywhere. It gives you opportunities to look at things you might never have thought of before. Studying at Hartpury was so worth it - I wouldn't dream of doing it anywhere else now. You can tailor your degree to nurture your direct interests, and the lecturers were willing to help and support you in finding your next steps. Everything I needed was on site, from the fantastic agriculture facilities, to the farm and the classrooms being so close together. Having access to all the other facilities at Hartpury meant that I was exposed to different industries and what they did too." Having previously completed an eight-week summer work placement at Yorkshire Farmers, Holly was offered a role as Production Assistant after graduating with first class honours from Hartpury.
