Specialist skills Achieve your potential
What sets our BSc (Hons) degrees apart from most other veterinary nursing qualifications is the research dissertation in your final year. You’ll develop your unique interests and industry skills, contribute to best practice standards and be ready to hit the ground running from day one in practice. You’ll be given the tools you need to become an effective member of a veterinary nursing team, communicate with clients, and provide high-quality patient care. During the final year of the BSc (Hons) degree, you'll undertake clinical coaching to gain the practical clinical skills you'll need for your future profession. When you graduate, you could choose to enhance your skills and knowledge by completing a master’s degree (MSc) or Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing, which offers specialist pathways, at Hartpury University.
