We have an international reputation for equine education. Our students are challenged to reach newheights in their fields.Working alongside equine scientists, trainers, entrepreneurs and other professionals, they develop their expertise and contribute to research that’s answering the industry’s most pressing questions. If you’re passionate, hard-working andmotivated tomake a difference, we’ll give you the skills and connections to channel this energy into an exciting equine career. From our research to our teaching, we're always looking at how we can advance welfare standards within equestrian sport and the wider equine industry. You’ll learn from the latest scientific research underpinning training, behaviour and welfare, and have the chance to work on industry-linked business briefs. You’ll apply theory to practice in our world-class environment, building valuable industry connections through work placements and guest lectures. Whatever your career aspirations, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to gain experience both on and off campus – whether maximising our reputation and connections to find your dreamwork placement or developing practical and professional skills on campus. Students gain experience in our commercial Equine Therapy Centre as well as in events and media roles at our international events: NAF Five Star Hartpury International Festival of Dressage and NAF Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials. We're also hosting the FEI Dressage and Eventing European Championships for Young Riders and Juniors 2022 – there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved.
