Our research informs evidence-based practice which promotes wellbeing between animals, people and the planet We partner with key industry and academic bodies to find solutions to important real world issues. We collaborate with a wide range of animal and agriculture experts and organisations who share our vision and engage with animal charities and grassroots, national, and international farming bodies. Our expertise in both animal and agriculture often intersects, leading to exciting cross disciplinary synergies. For example, cutting edge farming technologies find application in our animal science research, while valuable animal welfare insights are put into practice and refined on our livestock farm. A broader perspective You’ll have the chance to participate in wider conversations through research conducted by MRes and PhD students, as well as staff. Get involved in projects as part of your modules and your dissertation, and join a rich and varied network that will change your perception of animals and the agricultural world. Gain access to a diverse range of specialists, focused on improving health, wellbeing and behaviour in their areas, enabling you to draw on and test new ideas, whilst finding solutions to important issues.
