Access to Higher Education There are no specific academic entry requirement for our Access diplomas. Suitability for the course will be determined based on the application form, reference and interview.

Additional course requirements General A-level entry requirements | You'll need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English Language, in addition to the specific GCSE subjects and grades required by each subject as detailed above. *For Combined Science, you'll need a double grade, 66. This applies to Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, PE and Physics. **Students must be at least 16 years old and in suitable employment. GCSEs to include either Maths or English Language. Students with grades A-C in English and Maths will be exempt from studying Functional Skills – which is mandatory for any students who have not achieved this. †Duration is one year plus a three-month assessment window. ††Year two entry is subject to successfully meeting entry requirements.
