OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Develop the technical skills and experience to run a range of outdoor adventure activities with different age groups. We’ll support you to get out of your comfort zone and develop key skills in leadership, problem-solving and using your initiative, as well as how to work well in a team. We’re ideally situated for you to make the most of the great outdoors. With the Forest of Dean, Malvern Hills, Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and the River Wye on our doorstep, you’ll be perfectly placed to apply your learning with practical activities on the land and water. Our courses are delivered through a mix of classroom sessions and off-site practical days. Three days of your week will be spent in the classroom, where you’ll explore the theory underpinning outdoor adventure. You'll be off site one day per week, seeing the theory come to life as you take part in practical activities. You’ll have the chance to complete industry-recognised qualifications and National Governing Body awards through your practical work. This will help you to stand out from the crowd when applying for future jobs or university courses.
