From our student-led club, to volunteering in our Equine Therapy Centre or at local, national, or international events, there's much more to horses at Hartpury than just riding.* You don't need to bring your own horse to get involved, on and off campus. Equestrian Club and riding opportunities You could take advantage of recreational riding and social events through our student run Equestrian Club, or book onto subsidised lessons with a local riding school.** It’s a great way to meet new people. British Horse Society (BHS) short courses
We run BHS short courses throughout the academic year. These include BHS Stage 1 and 2, covering riding and stable management, as well as the BHS Silver Challenge Ride Safe training and assessment.
