Benefit from a professional sports environment on campus. You'll put theory into practice in our 1,500m 2 multi-sports hall with integrated cameras, developing applied skills for your future role in sport. Our Sports Academy is also home to state-of the-art technologies used by our university students and Sports Academy teams for training and development. Human performance laboratory Our specialist anti-gravity treadmill speeds up recovery and rehabilitation, while our altitude chamber enhances performance via high-altitude training. Biomechanics laboratory Specialist platforms under our running track, sports hall, and astro turf surfaces measure force during training, while 3D cameras and digital mirrors map and track body movement relating to exercise goals. Sports hall Our 1,500m² sports hall is equipped with video performance cameras to analyse technique. Sports therapy Our sports therapy students put their massage skills into practice using our rehabilitation suite.
