Welcome to your Open Morning

Today is your opportunity to find out everything you need to know about life as a Hartpury student, from our Ofsted Outstanding educational provision, to learning how we’ll support your personal development, employability and life skills. We can’t wait to show you what we have to offer on our beautiful 360-hectare campus. Your arrival 9:00-11:30 Let us know you’ve arrived at our Registration desk in the CLC (College Learning Centre). We recommend arriving around 30 minutes before your chosen welcome talk. Welcome and subject talks 9:30, 10:15, 11:00 or 11:45 Your day will start with a welcome talk from Vice-Principal Claire Whitworth. Up to 10 minutes before the start time of your welcome talk, follow the red floor spots outside. They’ll lead you to MDC1, our large lecture theatre.After your welcome talk, you’ll go straight to your subject talk. This is where you’ll meet our teaching staff, find out about some of our courses and see our amazing facilities. Additional subject talks 10:30, 11:15 or 12:00 If you want to find out about more than one subject, head back to the subject flag meeting point and stand next to the relevant flag for a second talk at 10.30 , 11.15 or 12.00 . Sports Academy If you’d like to find out about one of our 10 Sports Academies, representatives will be in the CLC for you to discover more.

Exploring after the talks

The Information Hub After the talks you’ll have plenty of time to explore the rest of our campus and meet our support teams. You’ll find our experts on hand in the CLC where they’ll be happy to answer your questions. Food and drink Our campus eatery Graze and coffee cart outside MDC1 will be open if you fancy a snack or a drink during your visit. Campus Tours Our friendly student ambassadors will be on hand to show you around campus. You’ll already have seen your subject-specific facilities, but there’s plenty more of our campus to explore, including where to eat and hang out. Please note, to safeguard our current students our accommodation blocks won’t be open for viewing.

What happens next? Once we receive your application, we’ll email and invite you to book a telephone interview with a member of staff on your chosen course. The interview is your chance to discuss the course content and ask any questions you may have. If you’re successful at interview, we’ll send you written confirmation of your offer on the course – subject to you achieving the required GCSE grades. Joining one of our Sports Academies Some sports have an application process and some have assessment days. If you are interested in joining one of the sports academies then please visit our website. Here you can let us know about yourself, and our Sports Academy staff can get in touch with you to explain the next steps.
