Your enrolment is online this year, so it’s different to last time. Check your next steps below and find out more inside your pack.

Read this Enrolment Pack It includes details about things you need to do now, what happens during your online enrolment (mid-July) and online induction (September). Read more on pages 3-4. Set up with self-service Set up with self-service before the end of June 2021, so you can change your password for your Hartpury email, if required. You'll need access to your Hartpury email to enrol online. Make your payments Find details about payments, and the financial support available for UK students, on page 3. Your enrolment is an important part of coming back to Hartpury. Please complete the following steps now, to ensure a smooth transition into your second or third year. Getting ready for enrolment Now Step 1. Set up self-service and set up your payment plan. You'll receive your payment schedule after you enrol in September 2021.

Sports Academy membership, £80 If you’re already a member, or joining this year, you'll need to pay for membership for the year. Gymmembership, £120 For unlimited use of our fully-equipped gym, open to all students. To pay for your Sports Academy or gym membership, visit estore.hartpury.ac.uk/ product-catalogue/sport Step 3. Reapply for transport If you live in the local area and want to travel to college using Hartpury transport, you must reapply as soon as possible. If you don't reapply, you won't be allocated a space. Visit our website to download and fill in your application form, pay your deposit and set up your payment plan now. www.hartpury.ac.uk/college-transport Once we've received your application, deposit payment, and you've set up a payment plan, we'll send your bus pass and timetable in the post in August 2021. •

You should have received an email from us about setting up self-service. Please make sure you do this, if you haven't already, to ensure you're able to get into your Hartpury email. This is where we'll send details about your online enrolment. Step 2. Make your payments There are some fees to pay before you start, including your educational visits fee. Don't forget, we offer bursaries to help UK students with these costs. Check our website. • Educational visits fee, £85 Field trips, visits and external speakers are an important part of your student experience. This fee contributes to the cost of speakers, transport for off-site visits, and entry to shows, events, museums, competitions and many other attractions. What will I need? • Your Hartpury log in. • If you're under 18, you'll need to have your parents/guardians with you, as they will need to sign some forms. A bank card to pay your educational visits fee (£85), if you haven't already. Please note that to be invited to enrol online, you'll need to meet the minimum requirements for progression. Please contact your tutor if you have any questions or concerns. Bring you laptop You’ll need to bring a laptop with you to complete your studies. Please make sure it meets our laptop minimum specification. Check our guidance at www.hartpury.ac.uk/laptop-guidance Don't have a laptop? Don't worry, we can loan you a laptop for the duration of your course. Get in touch with us by emailing studentfinance@hartpury.ac.uk •

Step 4. Buy your kit If you need to buy any new sports kit or clothing for your course you can buy this online. Visit www.hartpury.ac.uk/shop If you order this now, you'll have it in time for your enrolment. But you can wait until you start your course, too. If you're an international student, you can order this now and have it delivered to Hartpury, so it’s ready for when you arrive. The delivery address is: Student Services, Hartpury College, Gloucester, GL19 3BE – please remember to add your name. Alternatively, you can wait until you arrive to place your order online. July Step 5. Complete your online enrolment In mid-July, we'll send an email to your Hartpury account with a link to complete your re-enrolment online. That's why it's so important that you reset your password now to ensure you have access to your Hartpury email account. What does it include? As part of your online enrolment, you'll complete your Hartpury College regulations form, learning agreement, and your trip Keep your ID card Make sure you keep your ID somewhere safe. You'll use the same one when you return in September 2021. However, you'll get a new card if: • you turn 18 over the summer • you change residential status. If this is the case, we'll be in touch to let you know how to get your new card, as part of your online enrolment. If you've lost your card, you'll need to visit Student Services when back on campus to arrange and pay for a new one.

International students If you’re a returning international student, we will need to check your passport or ID documents and Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) when you return. We’ll take copies and update your record, which will be held with our International Manager as part of UK Visa

Your Hartpury College enrolment

We're looking forward to welcoming you back to Hartpury College in September 2021, for the next year on your course.

We've moved to online enrolment, so the process will be different to what you did last year. Here's what will happen. Mid-July 2021: Your online enrolment You'll receive an email to your Hartpury email address inviting you to enrol online. Please complete this as soon as possible, to help us make your re-enrolment to Hartpury as smooth as possible. Turn back to page 4 for more details about what will happen and what you'll need to have with you. Wednesday 8 – Thursday 9 September 2021: Your online induction Your online induction will take place on both of these days. Your tutor will be in touch with the link to join. During your online induction, you'll receive your timetable and find out everything you need to know about beginning the next year of your course. So you'll be all ready to get started with your academic lessons. Friday 10 September 2021 There are several things happening on this day, so make sure you read the following carefully to see if any of this applies to you. • Your residential welcome (residential

You'll get your keys, attend your residential briefing via MS Teams (we'll tell you more when you get here) and settle into your new room on site. If you've secured a place in our student livery, you'll also come into college on Friday 10 September. Our livery team will be in touch with more details. • Agricultural apprentices, 9.30 – 10.30am • Student livery You'll come in for your induction session on Friday 10 September, and then be in college once a week (on a Friday) after this. Getting your bus pass If you live in the local area and have reapplied to travel on Hartpury transport (see page 3), we'll send your bus pass and timetable in the post by mid-August – so make sure you've applied, paid your deposit and set up a payment plan by then. www.hartpury.ac.uk/college-transport Once you've enrolled Your course will start the following week, Monday 13 September 2021. We’re optimistic that life will have returned to its new normal by September, but rest assured that we’re planning for all scenarios, to ensure you have the best experience possible. We'll keep you updated as our plans develop.

College inset days Inset days are additional days off for A-level and diploma students. As such, you won’t be required in college on the following dates – although tutors may require attendance to catch up on any outstanding work.

If you’re an equine student with livery and the inset day falls on a Monday, you may be able to return with your horse on the Sunday. You’ll need to get permission from the Director of Equine.
