Digital Strategy
7
We recognise that having secure, robust and reliable digital systems and technology is essential to protect information, minimise disruptions and failures, and deliver consistently high performance for users. With increasing security threats from external sources, Hartpury must embed practices and procedures to protect its users, physical assets and data, through the use of appropriate technology, processes and training. System reliability and accessibility are key enablers to a successful working and study environment and are a key strategic focus.
To achieve this, we will: 2.1. Continue to develop robust information and digital-related governance functions, with supporting policies, policy management, procedures and guidelines. 2.2. Adopt a cyber and information security focused approach, ensuring that best practices in security are built into all solutions, using sector framework benchmarks. 2.3. Provide resilient systems which are responsive, scalable and accessible, with minimal downtime that are actively monitored for system exceptions. 2.4. Increase digital connectivity for all users, both on and off campus. 2.5. Expand our relationship management with suppliers and partners to ensure expectations, contracts and value-for-money are managed effectively.
