Adedicatedwellbeing team Our Student Wellbeing team includes qualified counsellors, nurses and wellbeing officers to provide guidance when you need it. We'll also advise you how to register with the local doctor. We run a calendar of wellbeing and inclusivity activities to help you stay healthy and happy, including sessions with our much-loved therapy dog, Ralph. StudentAssistance Programme When you need a little extra help, our Student Assistance Programme (SAP) offers support at any time of the day or night via a confidential helpline. This includes financial and legal advice, medical information, counselling and bereavement, relationship and wellbeing guidance, and help managing stress. Find out more when you get here. Academic support You’ll be assigned an academic tutor to support you in your studies. If you need extra advice, the team at the Achievement and Success Centre (ASC) can make a big difference. They run study skills workshops, and offer advice and guidance on a whole range of subjects, from academic writing and referencing to revision and overcoming examination nerves. Supportwith specific needs For students with learning differences, such as dyslexia or dyspraxia, a physical or sensory impairment, a mental health condition or a medical or developmental condition –we’re here to help. We also have aWellness Development teamwho can advise with practical support.
