Inspire young people to get active and develop essential life skills through sport. You’ll play an important role in improving their physical, social and emotional development. You’ll develop skills in a range of activities including traditional sports, aquatics and outdoor adventure. You could also have the opportunity to achieve your Level 5 PE Teacher’s Award. This will allow you to secure a paid role in a school as a teaching assistant while you’re studying. Industry opportunities Supported work placements are central to each year on this degree, to ensure you graduate prepared to take your next step. Our students benefit from our partnerships with local organisations including Active Gloucestershire, TT Adventures, Just Camps, Millbrook Academy, Marling Grammar School and Badminton Independent School. This course is ideal for those who are passionate about using sport and physical activities to improve the lives of young people. Make a difference to the development of young people through physical education and school sports. Gain experience in primary and secondary schools, as well as sports clubs.
