Foreword by the Director of Sustainability

This is the beginning of a significant and vital journey for Hartpury, which we describe as a journey across the 7 Cs: Efficient commercial operations, cutting carbon, aiding compliance, managing our consumption, boosting our credibility and reputation, collaborating across our specialist sectors and with our local community, whilst enabling students to access emerging best practice skills, behaviours, knowledge and agency through our curriculum. We will leverage the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to support and frame our journey. Focused on action over rhetoric, we aim to make a lasting impact in areas where we excel, operating within our unique educational environment. Over the next five years, we will pursue excellence, balancing ambition with pragmatism, leveraging broad avenues for funding, and laying the foundation now for success into the next 25 years of our centenary.
