The Hartpury University and Hartpury College Rowing Academy stands as a beacon of excellence in British rowing, renowned for cultivating athletes who achieve national and international acclaim. Rowing was first introduced at Hartpury College in 2009, and the boat club has since grown into one of the most competitive clubs within the United Kingdom. The college programme has seen numerous medal-winning performances at the National Schools Regatta, Henley Women’s Regatta, and Henley Royal Regatta. University students have also achieved numerous medals at both BUCS Regatta and BUCS Head events across all categories, as well as qualifying boats for Henley Royal Regatta in multiple disciplines such as the Prince of Wales (M4x-), Princess Grace (W4X-), and Stonor Challenge Trophy (W2x). In addition, the Hartpury pathway academy is a unique initiative aiming to provide a high-performance training environment for those aged 14-18 years of age in the local area. Since its introduction, it has helped to produce many athletes who have gone on to study at Hartpury College and even represent Great Britain. The Rowing Academy is particularly keen on making rowing accessible and enjoyable for all, and a collaboration with this exciting pathway ensures significant brand exposure, demonstration of CSR, alignment with a high-performance sports institution, and a role in supporting the next generation of rowing talent.
