We have 3,500 students on campus, which enables us to provide exceptional student support. Alongside A-levels in 15 different subjects (including Chinese), we specialise in college-level diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in agriculture, animal, equine and sport. World-leading facilities
Our specialist facilities are used by students and industry professionals alike. In fact, some of them are part of our commercial enterprises on-site and so enable our students to develop the latest skills whilst gaining invaluable professional experience.
A-levels Our multi-million-pound College Learning Centre classrooms, laboratories and specialist facilities provide our A-level students with a professional learning environment. Students also make the most of our specialist facilities for their enrichment programmes, as well as part of our elite sports and equine academies.

Our new £8.8million Sports Academy includes new treatment suites, human performance and biomechanics labs, as well as an altitude chamber for hypoxic training Our students and graduates gain experience and graduate roles in our Canine Hydrotherapy Centre. Equine facilities
We’re among the biggest equine education centre in the world, with exceptional facilities (accredited by the British Horse Society), teaching and competition arenas. Rio 2016 Olympic Champions Valegro and Charlotte Du Jardin are regular visitors, as they train in our equine therapy and rider performance centres. Our students make the most of these world-leading facilities too.
We're well-known as one of the UK's best institutions for sports development. You'll benefit from a near-professional sports environment, with facilities to match, and hundreds of athletes training and competing on campus. We develop athletes across 10 different sports. We're also the only educational institution in the UK to have our own Championship Rugby team! Sport facilities

Animal facilities
We’re leading the way with canine hydrotherapy and industry research that’s pioneering change across the world. We have over 90 animal species on campus for you to work with including meerkats, prairie dogs, invertebrates, reptiles, birds, livestock, horses, emus and rare-breed bagot goats. We also boadst specialist dog agility facilities.
Agriculture facilities
Our new Agri Tech Centre (opening in 2019) will put us on the UK map. It will demonstrate the latest SMART farming techniques, and drive forwards science and technology in farming. You'll also gain hands-on experience on our commercial farm that is home to hectares of arable land, as well as cattle and sheep, a beef-rearing unit and a rapid exit milking parlour.

Hartpury is nestled in the heart of the most spectacular county. Get sporty at Kingsholm Rugby stadium Known as one of the best stadiums in England, Kingsholm is home to Gloucester Rugby (they also train on campus) and hosted the 2015 Rugby World Cup
Visit Gloucester Cathedral Its cloisters were the corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Harry Potter. We also have our university graduation ceremony here!

5 things you might not know
We hold an ‘A’ rating Tier 4 sponsor license from UK Visa & Immigration (UKVI) service, which means we can assess your visa documents to ensure you have everything you need to get your visa first time round
We’ll pick you up at Heathrow, Gatwick or Birmingham airports at the start of the year, so you can enjoy your journey here
Our International Student Society, run by our Students' Union, will help you enjoy everything the UK offers, through field trips and social events
Our international student welcome event will enable you to meet lots of other Hartpury students, and learn more about studying and living in the UK
We reserve a number of halls of residence rooms on campus, just for international students. As a Hartpury College student, you'll get accommodation for the duration of your course

Hartpury College A-levels and diplomas
At Hartpury College you can choose from A-levels or internationally-recognised diplomas, depending on your interests, learning styles and abilities. Our learning outcomes are exceptional, with the majority of students progressing into employment or university-level study at Hartpury University or elsewhere.
A-levels 2 years
A-levels offer a traditional and academic learning route. You can choose from our 15 different A-level qualifications, as follows: Biology Business Studies Chemistry Chinese Economics

Alongside studying A-levels, you’ll pursue an enrichment programme of your choice. Many students choose to gain experience in pre-medicine or pre-veterinary programmes, ready for university study. You could also choose to play sport for fun or competitively as part of our semi- professional Sports Academies.

Hartpury University undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) honours degrees 3 years or 4 years with integrated placement year Our range of bachelors degrees – in animal, agriculture, equine, sport and veterinary nursing - have been designed in line with industry and lead to clear employment and postgraduate progression routes. You’ll put theory into practice outside lectures, making the most of our unrivalled facilities on campus. Foundation degrees (FdSc) 2 years or 3 years with integrated placement year We offer a foundation degree in each of our subject areas. This is the ideal choice for those who enjoy practical learning and who want to get hands-on in industry while studying. On completion you could progress into employment or pursue a one-year top-up qualification to achieve your full BSc degree (see below). BSc (honours) level 6 top-up degree 1 year Studying a Hartpury top-up degree provides a fantastic opportunity for you to progress your existing qualification to a full BSc degree in just one year. You’ll gain industry experience, undertake a research project and graduate ready to hit the ground running. Postgraduate taught and research degrees (MSc, MRes, MPhil or PhD) 1 year and upwards Our postgraduate degrees will give you in-depth knowledge in your subject area and unrivalled industry connections, ready for your career. Studying a level 6 top-up degree at Hartpury means you can progress your two-year post-secondary diploma or Associates degree into a full BSc (honours) degree in just one year Studying A-levels or diplomas at Hartpury College can be more competitively priced than a UK-based private school, but you'll still get a similar 'British boarding school' experience Part-time employment If you're over 18, you'll be able to work for 20 hours each week during term time to support your studies. You could make the most of job opportunities advertised by our Students' Union or you could even secure a part-time role with one of our businesses on campus.
