This applied course will build your skills while giving you valuable industry experience to prepare you for your career. You’ll benefit from industry-leading facilities and our relationships with local and national equine businesses. In your first year, you’ll study a wide range of topics as you assess current industry practices. You’ll then tailor your studies to suit your interests and career goals, whether that’s science, management or a mixture of both. Industry opportunities A compulsory work placement will give you essential industry experience. You’ll gain experience on our own yard, before having the chance to work at one of our annual international equine events or an industry- based equine centre. Students have worked across the UK and overseas for top riders, at equestrian centres, and gained experience in the equestrian retail sector This course is ideal for those who are passionate about working in the equine industry and enjoy a practical approach to learning about research and practice. industry practices and undertake over 200 hours of work experience.
