Equine Performance Foundation (FdSc)

This hands-on course will give you the experience required to progress into yard management or top-level groom roles. You’ll focus on maximising equine performance through training, management and nutrition. Industry-focused modules will prepare you to make important decisions in your chosen career. In your first year you’ll study a wide range of topics as you assess current industry practices. You’ll then tailor your studies to suit your interests and career goals. Industry opportunities A compulsory work placement and optional sandwich year on this degree will enable you to gain essential industry experience. You could work on our own livery yard, at one of our annual international equine events or at international competition yards. This course is ideal for those who are passionate about working with horses in competition and have the drive to improve quality standards and welfare for performance horses. performance.
