The degree provides a fantastic opportunity for you to study a range of zoology related subjects. You’ll work in our labs as well as with different animals both on and off campus – exotics, domestics, invertebrates, livestock and wildlife. The course offers a variety of modules including animal health and disease, wildlife and zoo management, nutrition, biodiversity and animal behaviour, welfare and ethics, animal production and anthrozoology. As you progress you’ll develop your own areas of interest, gaining skills and experience for your career. Industry opportunities Our students gain work and research experience in our therapy centres on campus, as well as at local rescue centres, zoos and wildlife parks. We have strong industry connections, and host regular guest lectures as well as professionals undertaking practical demonstrations. This course is ideal for those who are passionate about animals and want to explore a range of subjects before tailoring their studies to suit their career goals with over 90 species on campus including meerkats, dogs, horses and livestock.
