You’ll benefit from a 360-hectare classroom that’s home to over 90 different species. You’ll be able to work with exotic and domestic species, invertebrates, reptiles, livestock on our commercial farm, and horses in our well-known equine education centre. We have our own commercial canine and equine therapy centres where you could help to rehabilitate a dog or a horse from injury. You could also develop your skills in dog behaviour and training, making the most of our dog agility arenas and on-site competitions. Our students and staff tackle industry issues through research, making a difference to animals' lives. They publish in journals and present at international conferences on subjects such as using audio books to reduce stress in shelter dogs and informing canine hydrotherapy practices.
