"I’m a veterinary nurse at

Fitzpatrick Referrals. I

support in the surgical prep area and the inpatient wards. I’m also a member of the hip team, which means I get to scrub in to assist the surgeons performing hip replacements. We call it ‘running the table’, ensuring the orthopaedic surgeons have the kit they need to do their work. I chose Hartpury because I loved that vet nursing had their own dedicated practical centre. We also had a great amount of dedicated time each week to prepare us for our OSCE practicals, ensuring we did everything properly."
