You’ll develop and practise your skills in our near-professional coaching environment, making the most of industry-standard facilities, including strength and conditioning gyms, and biomechanics and human performance labs. Specialist modules will enable you to work with competing athletes on campus, youth athletes and Olympic weightlifters. Alongside strength and conditioning expertise, the course will give you insights into other sports science and medical professions to prepare you to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in your career. Industry opportunities If you choose to undertake a sandwich year in industry, you’ll gain great experience ready for your career. Students have recently worked at Southampton Football Club, Gloucester Rugby, Bristol City FC, Sussex Country Cricket Club and the English Institute of Sport.
