“I try to observe each student as an individual so I can get to know what they need to succeed. I can then affect how they coach and play, as well as develop them as people. Helping them learn and progress is a core part of what I do. Principal Lecturer, Sports Coaching, Head Coach, Sports Academy Women’s Futsal, Joint Head Coach England Deaf Women’s Futsal Problem solving is important. Coaches and players need to make a lot of decisions and make them quickly. I never give my students the answer. Instead, I focus on developing their understanding and critical thinking so that they are able to work it out themselves.”
