At the Hart of Performance sport

Our Sports Academies help students reach their sporting peaks. They also enable those not competing to gain valuable experience behind the scenes, working with top-level athletes, coaches, therapists and scientists as part of their degree. You could treat Championship rugby players in our sports therapy clinic, refine rowers’ performance in our labs or strengthen equestrian athletes’ posture in our Rider Performance Centre. You could also get to the heart of the action, helping our women’s

football players with pitchside first-aid or developing your marketing and social media skills at big games. You could work alongside a whole range of sports professionals who’re working with our Academy teams. Many of these experts are also lecturers on our degrees which means you’ll get top-level expertise and exciting opportunities as part of your learning. With athletes and professionals working in a range of sporting areas and at different levels, you’ll gain insights into a variety of careers, ready to get a head start on your own journey.
