You’ll develop a range of skills to suit different farming systems in different countries, studying livestock, crop production and business management. Your first year will give you a strong foundation of skills, after which you can tailor your degree to suit you. You’ll develop practical skills in husbandry and handling, as well as nutrition and disease prevention, breeding and genetics. You’ll also design and implement nutrient management plans to maximise crop growth, whilst exploring new technologies. Industry opportunities You’ll gain a range of industry experience, with opportunities to undertake work placements with supermarkets, abattoirs, feed companies, plant breeders and agronomists.
