This degree provides a fantastic opportunity for you to study a range of zoology-related subjects. You’ll work in our labs as well as with different animals both on and off campus – exotics, domestics, invertebrates, livestock and wildlife. The course offers a variety of modules including animal health and disease, conservation, wildlife and zoo management, nutrition, biodiversity and animal behaviour, welfare and ethics, animal production and anthrozoology. As you progress you’ll develop your own areas of interest, gaining skills and experience for your career. you. Work with over 70 species on campus including meerkats, dogs, horses and livestock. Industry opportunities Our students gain work and research experience in our on-site facilities, as well as at local rescue centres, zoos and wildlife parks. We have strong industry connections and host regular guest lectures, as well as professionals undertaking practical demonstrations.
