PROCEDURE

C2 FormalWrittenWarning including second level warning in respect of potential cancellation of Accommodation Licence

• Tampering with Fire Safety / Security Equipment e.g. Covering Detectors / Security Cameras

C2 Issued by: Assistant Head of Residential Support or nominee

• Drunk and Disorderly Behaviour

• Behaviour Management Meeting with Assistant Head of Residential Support

• Dangerous Driving on Campus

• Breach of Hartpury’s Social Media Policy (unacceptable use)

Possible Outcomes / Sanctions: • £100 Fine

• Specific targets relating to offence plus any others at the discretion of Head of Residential Support or Nominee

Supportive interventions where relevant: • Meeting with Health & Safety Manager

• Meeting with Block Warden • Meeting with a member of the Wellbeing Team

C3 FormalWrittenWarning including final warning in respect of potential cancellation of Accommodation Licence • Behaviour Management Meeting with Vice Principal (Resources) and /or Assistant Head of Residential Support and/or Head of Residential Support Possible Outcomes / Sanctions: • £150 Fine • Student Event Ban • Possible suspension from on campus residence • Recommendation for removal from on campus residence • Specific targets relating to offence plus any others at the discretion of the Vice Principal (Resources) and /or Assistant Head of Residential Support and/or Head of Residential Support influence/possession or supply of drugs/ possession of drugs paraphernalia an oral test to detect drug use may be required • Sanctions for drugs or alcohol may include students undergoing appropriate screening and with support provided • Payment for repairs / replacement • For incidents involving use/under

• Race, Equality and Diversity Discrimination (this may include unacceptable use of social media) • Use/ Under Influence/ Possession/Supply/ Dealing of Class A, B or C Drugs including ‘Legal Highs’ and Performance Enhancing Drugs

• Theft

• Causing physical harm/assault; violence, threatening, offensive or indecent behaviour

• Sexual Harassment/misconduct and Online Sexual Abuse

• Bullying (including Cyber bullying / Sports Initiations/ bullying in residential accommodation)

• Vandalism / Deliberate Damage to Campus Property

• Offences against the criminal law, where these offences involve other students or directly affect the interests of the University • Any Serious Breach of Health & Safety (possession of explosive devices) and/or Behaviour Management including Bringing the University into Disrepute Which Could Relate to Offsite Incidents
