"There’s so much that goes on behind the scenes in agriculture that people just don’t see. Students should be excited at how much opportunity there is for them. The industry is much more than just working on a farm. Companies all over the world are invested in finding the next best thing in agriculture, and they’re looking for talented agriculture graduates to help them. I work for Agrii – one of the leading agronomy companies in the UK. I work alongside farmers to help them increase yields with the highest level of efficiency. Our Agri-Tech Centre will give our students, farmers and agricultural businesses greater access to commercially-proven technology to help improve the profitability and sustainability of livestock production. Focusing on the tech-to-plate journey, the centre will showcase the production, welfare and financial benefits that technology can bring to farm performance and productivity. You’ll be exposed to the latest in smart farming, through on-farm demonstrations, technology and research, ready for your future career. With theworld’s population due to increase by almost 40%, to £9.7 billion in 2050, our newAgri-Tech Centre is designed to showcase howthe latest agricultural technology can helpmeet global food challenges.
