Home Farm and University Agriculture Centre Gain real-world experience on our commercial farm, Home Farm. You'll benefit from state-of-the-art facilities for livestock and crop production. We work with big brands such as Sainsbury's, Müller and Glencore. You'll develop industry-standard skills and experience.

Enjoy professional-standard pitches, gyms, a stadium and performance suites. Our gyms and facilities are enjoyed by students across all courses as part of their learning, playing sport for fun or competitively.

Sports Academy

Our farming facilities You’ll have access to a 400-hectare farm business, spread across five sites. Learn in our Agriculture Centre and apply theory to practice on our commercial campus farm. Home to cows, calves, sheep and arable land, our facilities include a dairy bull-beef rearing unit, dairy unit and sheep handler. You'll develop your expertise across the supply chain. New£2 million Agri-Tech Centre Our new Agri-Tech Centre is a hub for livestock innovation and research. Our students will use the latest smart farming technology to help improve the productivity, profitability and sustainability of livestock farming locally, national and internationally. Our newSports Academy Benefit from biomechanics and human performance labs, a rehabilitation suite, medical and physiotherapy rooms, and a 1,500m2 multi-sports hall. State-of-the-art equipment includes an anti-gravity treadmill for rehabilitation, an altitude chamber for high-intensity training, high-tech 3D cameras to track movement and high-resolution digital mirrors to map body image. You could perfect your own performance or undertake exciting scientific research as part of your degree – we’ve got everything you need to prepare for your dream career in sport.
