Our veterinary nursing programmes are accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). On graduation, you’ll be eligible to join the RCVS Register of VeterinaryNurses and practise as a qualified and registered veterinary nurse.

We’re preparing our students to practice as skilled veterinary nurses, and to help drive forward a vibrant, rewarding and sustainable profession, now and for the future.

We place real value on the potential of each and every student. We’ll support you to succeed as an RCVS-qualified veterinary nurse, with the clinical and professional skills needed to provide high-quality animal patient care. Alongside this, we’ll help you to develop as a forward-thinking professional. Through lectures, research and debate, you’ll engage with and respond to key sector challenges. You’ll develop your own unique skills to make a difference to the future of veterinary nursing. Our close-knit support network, the experience of our teaching staff, the quality of our degrees, and our excellent relationships with training practices across the UK, will help to prepare you to make that difference.

Alongside an exciting research project, you'll develop skills in clinical coaching. You could also study optional modules to suit your interests or undertake charity work across the globe. Valuing your experience Undertake your clinical placement in one continuous block. This will give you plenty of time to develop your skills to become a valuable part of the veterinary nursing team.
