Equine facilities

Animal facilities

We’re among the biggest equine education centres in the world, with exceptional facilities (accredited by the British Horse Society), teaching and competition arenas. Rio 2016 Olympic Champions Valegro and Charlotte Du Jardin are regular visitors, as they train in our equine therapy and rider performance centres. Our students make the most of these world-leading facilities too.

We’re leading the way with canine hydrotherapy and industry research that’s pioneering change across the world. We have over 70 animal species on campus for you to work with including meerkats, prairie dogs, invertebrates, reptiles, birds, livestock, horses, emus and rare-breed bagot goats. We also boadst specialist dog agility facilities.

Alongside our two annual international equestrian events, this year we're hosting the FEI European Championships in Eventing and Dressage for Juniors and Young Riders

We're well-known as one of the UK's best institutions for sports development. You'll benefit from a near-professional sports environment, with facilities to match, and hundreds of athletes training and competing on campus. We develop athletes across 10 different sports. We're also the only educational institution in the UK to have our own Championship rugby team! Sport facilities

Agriculture facilities

Benefit from access to over 400 hectares of commercial farmland including an on campus farm. Make the most of our new agricultural technology centre, Agri- Tech, which showcases the latest SMART farming techniques to the county's farming community. You'll connect with leading industry professionals and see the latest digital farming systems in practice.

Our new £8.8 million sports development includes advanced technologies such as an anti-gravity treadmill and high-altitude chamber.
