HARTPURYCOLLEGE NON-ACADEMIC BEHAVIOUR MANAGEMENT ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023 STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT Hartpury will issue all students with a Student Code of Conduct. Hartpury College expects all students to be responsible citizens and behave in line with the Student Code of Conduct.

Cautions

A student can receive 3 cautions for the behaviour management breaches detailed below before proceeding to a C1 (pending existing non-academic behaviour management record):

Recorded on the Student Record. Students & Parents/Carers (if student is under 18 or if an O18 student has given permission) will receive an automatically issued ‘caution’ email.

• Failure to Comply with Morning Registration (U18) • Failure to Comply with Curfew Procedure (U18)

Level 1 FormalWrittenWarning & Stage 1 Cancellation of Residential Licence Notification Recorded on the Student Record. Students & Parents/Carers (if student is under 18 or if an O18 student has given permission) will receive an automatically issued C1 email. Residential Sanctions such as earlier curfew (2100 hrs for 7 days) plus any of the following: • Any sanction relating to the breach at the discretion of the Senior Residential Support Officer • Vehicle banned from Campus until permit purchased for parking breach Supportive interventions where relevant: • Meeting with Health & Safety Manager • Meeting with Hall Residential Support Officer • Meeting with a member of the Wellbeing Team

• Campus Parking Breach

C1 Issued by/ meeting with Senior Residential Support Officer

• Minor Breach of Behaviour Management/ Residential Rules and Regulations including Health & Safety Legislation

• Repeated Failure to Comply with Morning Registration or Curfew Procedure (U18)

• Misuse of Security Fob (U18)

• Breach of Visitor/Overnight Guest (Hartpury student)
