Our graduates have gone on to become senior internationals with England and Wales and play in the Netball Superleague. Men’s rugby Winners of the AASE Championship national colleges title for seven years in a row - every year since the competition started - our Under-18s rugby programme is arguably the most successful in the country. As well as a proud record of international honours - more than 150 rugby internationals in the last 10 years - hundreds of our students have gone on to secure professional contracts, with almost half of the current Gloucester Rugby senior and Academy squads having come from the Hartpury ranks! Women’s rugby More than 20 of the current England Women’s senior, Under-20s and Under-18s Talent Development squad have come through the women’s rugby programme at Hartpury, including World Cup winners like Alex Matthews and Natasha Hunt. Rowing Our rowing programme is aimed at identifying and developing the next generation of Olympic rowers as a national centre for

the GB Start programme. Our girls crews won six national titles in 2015-16, including the Henley Royal Regatta title for the third year in a row and the British Junior Championships, while seven former and current Gloucester-Hartpury rowers competed for Great Britain at the Under-23s World Rowing Championships. Modern Pentathlon In a super season for Hartpury’s modern pentathletes, 2015-16 saw us win the National Modern Pentathlon Championships among a haul of 10 national team and individual boys’ and girls’ titles, while Bradley Sutton became the National Modern Pentathlon champion. We are the National Youth Training Centre for the GB World Class Development programme with facilities including a sports hall, equine centre and a combined event range. Football Five times winners of the English Colleges FA national title and four times winners of the English Schools FA national title, our junior programme continues to go from strength to strength. In the 2015-16, every one of our four junior teams won their league. Many players have gone on to secure professional contracts, including most recently, Mustapha Bundu, with AGF Aarhus, while David Accam has been playing in the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the USA. Women’s football and futsal Building on the success of our men’s programme and in response to growing demand, Hartpury is now setting its sights on developing some of the UK’s brightest female footballing talent, with its new women’s football and futsal programme.
