These courses offer a strong understanding and knowledge of the sports industry, whether it’s fitness, therapy or coaching. Practical sessions form an important part of learning and include leading sports activities, organising sporting events or coaching within the community. If you are interested in developing your own rugby, football or golf skills and performance, alongside the study of coaching and training, then our specialist diplomas give all prospective professional players the foundation to pursue a career in a variety of domains such as the coaching, teaching and personal training sectors. These courses have strong links with the Sports Academy allowing some students to represent the college at the highest levels of college sport. Our range of qualifications is focused on employability and securing your dream career and progression to university. The teaching staff have a wide range of expertise and include ex-professional sports players and high level coaches who work with professional sports teams in the UK and abroad. You’ll also have the option to gain additional awards in areas such as community sports leadership and fitness instruction to help you create an even more impressive CV.
