Hartpury College Prospectus

We are the world’s largest equestrian college. Our courses are designed to provide clear progression to further qualifications, a route to university or to go straight into the world of work. All of our students do more than study an academic course. The college’s world-class equine facilities are used not only for formal learning but also for work experience. All students are encouraged to take part in work experience at the Equine Therapy Centre and the Equine Centre, as well as a work placement out in industry. You will be taught by a highly qualified equine team with competitive and industry experience including BHS instructors, competitive riders and competition judges. In addition, we work regularly with experts such as Olympic gold medallist Carl Hester, Corrine Bracken and our Equine Academy Director, Lizzel Winter. Hartpury also hosts three major equine events throughout the year – the Hartpury Festival of Dressage, NAF Five Star International Horse Trials and the Showjumping Spectacular, giving you opportunities to watch and get involved with top-class competitions and see some of the stars of the equine world.
