Here at Hartpury, we pride ourselves on our success in enabling our students to ‘be the best they can become’, not only academically but in their personal development too. When you become a student at Hartpury you become part of something bigger, part of a community, part of Hartpury College’s history and also a part of its future. The Hartpury family, as we know it, is a very special one indeed. It was fantastic to have that recognised by Ofsted this year when they rated every aspect of what we do here as outstanding. This includes the quality of our teaching, pastoral care and outcomes for students. Department for Education results released in 2017 showed that Hartpury ranked as the top land-based college in England for student achievement (for both A-levels and diplomas). This year we were ranked as the top land-based college in the UK for student satisfaction. These are both fantastic results and testament to the unrivalled student experience that Hartpury offers. We pride ourselves on preparing our students for work or further training as well as developing them as

well-rounded, independent individuals able to meet life’s challenges head on. Our unique Hartpury Certificate, for example, enables students to work towards the development of wider employability and life skills complementary to their main qualification. They have the opportunity to develop and gain real-life experience, as well as the skills and knowledge to be ahead of the game when they start out in their dream careers in their chosen industry.
