First aid If you require first aid, contact reception. If it’s outside core business hours, contact the Residential Support Team. Smoking and e-cigarettes Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking and e-cigarette areas. Fire procedures All fire alarms should be treated as an emergency unless specifically informed otherwise. On hearing an alarm, please make your way to the nearest fire exit and assemble at the designated refuge area as indicated on the evacuation procedure notices. Do not stop to collect personal belongings and do not re-enter any building unless instructed it is safe to do so. On discovering a fire, please raise the alarm by breaking glass in a call point or notifying the nearest member of staff. Should you require assistance in these circumstances, please discuss with reception staff when signing in.
