Welcome to Hartpury University and Hartpury College. We’re a specialist educational institution, offering further and higher education qualifications in animal, agriculture, equine, sport and veterinary nursing subjects. Our world-class facilities and expertise offer unrivalled learning opportunities. Our small class sizes and personal teaching approach means that students get the support they need to succeed. Our offer is unique - students can join us to study A-levels or a diploma and progress right through to an undergraduate bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and then a PhD. They can also train as sports and equestrian athletes alongside their studies, with many achieving world-class sporting success in their careers. Others progress into successful careers with organisations such as the British Horseracing Authority, Formula 1, Grandstand Media, The Blue Cross, Agrii, Ecotricity and Coca Cola .

Driving on campus Please take care when driving on campus. Remain within the 20mph speed limit, observe the road markings, and be courteous of other users, including pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. Parking is entirely at your own risk – we don’t advise leaving valuables unattended. Safety and security Our campus is covered by CCTV for safety and security purposes. Safety notices and instructions are in place to protect all campus users; your compliance with these is much appreciated. When visiting ‘working’ areas, such as the farm and equine centre, please keep to authorised areas. If you have contact with animals whilst here, please wash your hands afterwards, to prevent the transmission of diseases. If you observe anyone acting suspiciously during your visit, or you have any health and safety concerns, please don’t hesitate to inform your host or reception staff.

Safeguarding / PREVENT Hartpury is committed to safeguarding and has robust policies and procedures to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of students, staff and visitors. Visitors MUST be accompanied at all times and are prohibited from visiting accommodation blocks unless absolutely necessary and escorted by a member of staff. If you become separated from your host for any reason, please report opportunity, any sign that could indicate a student is at risk or being abused. In line with the PREVENT Duty Guidance, Hartpury has a duty to ensure students are safeguarded from being drawn into extremism and terrorism. If you see or hear something which could indicate this, please report it to our Safeguarding and Residential Support teams.
