Practice based learning 25% of our Veterinary Nursing programmes are based in clinical practice, which means you’ll have opportunities to align your developing skills with industry. Our links provide exciting veterinary practice based learning opportunities. These relationships are managed by our staff on an ongoing basis, enabling us to coordinate learning opportunities that will prepare you for the future. You’ll spend 1,800 hours in an approved RCVS veterinary nursing clinical practice in your second year. In your final year, you’ll share your expertise with first-year students to help their development and also gain valuable coaching experience for the future. Our academic and careers teams will support you at every step. We’ll help you to find the opportunity that is best suited to your passion and skillset, as well as the requirements of the employer, replicating the job application process to further prepare you for life after university.
