Undergraduate degree 3 or 4 years with integrated placement year Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) or Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) are the most popular undergraduate qualifications. Usually pursued after A-levels, diplomas or international equivalent qualifications. They're perfect if you’re keen to develop more specialist knowledge in a particular subject while gaining skills and experience ready for your dream career. Our degrees come with Honours (Hons). Although ‘Honours’ isn’t a grade, it is a mark of quality. It will help your job application stand out to an employer or your application for postgraduate study. Foundation year 4 or 5 years with integrated placement year Most of our degrees offer a Foundation year option. A Foundation year is ideal if you need to develop subject-specific skills or a qualification ready for degree-level study. On successful completion you'll progress onto the first year of your degree, alongside other first-year students. Foundation degree (FdSc) 2 or 3 years with integrated placement year A Foundation degree will support you to enter the vocational part of your industry. At the end of the Foundation degree, you should be ready to enter employment or progress onto a one-year Top-up Level 6 qualification to achieve a full BSc (Hons) degree.
BSc (Hons) Top-up Level 6 1 year If you have a HND, foundation degree, or equivalent, including industry experience, our Top-up Level 6 degrees allow you to achieve a full BSc (Hons) degree in just one year. Higher Education Diplomas 2 years Also known as a Diploma in Professional Studies, this vocational qualification gives students something to stand apart from other candidates when applying for jobs. It provides a strong foundation in a specific subject area, combining academic knowledge with practical skills. Integrated Master's (MSci) 4 or 5 years with integrated placement year An MSci is an exciting qualification, combining undergraduate and postgraduate-level study in one. You’ll study your full BSc (Hons) degree, with an extra year of study enabling you to pursue your subject in more detail and develop advanced research skills.
