Develop the skills to progress into an agricultural management career, helping to solve the challenge of sustainable food production. With access to our commercial farm and real-world business briefs, you’ll graduate ready for a successful career. Develop your understanding of crop and livestock management systems. On the livestock side, you’ll explore ruminant production and mono-gastric production systems. Within crop production, you’ll learn how new technologies, such as plant breeding and genetically modified organisms (GMOs), can optimise soil quality and crop yield. Business modules will introduce you to the latest farmmanagement practices and policies. Hear from professionals in lectures and undertake field trips to enhance your learning. Industry opportunities You’ll spend time in industry working on a range of real world projects and have the option to take an integrated placement year. Students work with businesses such as Agrii and the NFU, and internationally in New Zealand and Uganda.
