From smart technology in our Agri-Tech Centre to data-driven research projects in our advanced new dairy parlour, our commercial Home Farm provides plenty of opportunities to put your learning into practice and contribute to studies that are helping to drive the industry forward sustainably.

Benefit from commercial farm facilities • 380 hectares: access to five sites for a range of farming systems • On-site farm: home to cows, calves, sheep, arable land, and modern facilities • Supplying: big brands including Müller • Agri-Tech Centre: phase one of our Digital Innovation Farm offers smart technology and precision tools for livestock research • New Tech Box Park: research and innovation spaces for local agri-businesses • Modern dairy parlour: for applied learning and research to improve dairy herd welfare • 296-cubicle dairy parlour: for applied learning and research into dairy herd welfare • Trial plots: used by ADAS for important environmental research • Orchard: with heritage apple varieties • Environmental features: including ponds, field margins, hedges, woodland, and nesting boxes for sustainable land management.
