“When students become inspired to carry out a research project in infectious diseases in animals – that’s the biggest reward for me. As a researcher, I thought it was about time I pass my knowledge, enthusiasm and passion on to the next generation of animal scientists. I bring my research and industry perspective into the classroom, which sets Hartpury apart as a specialist university. By using real-life examples of things that are happening right now, such as Avian Influenza, I’m able to enthuse them to go further and potentially progress our understanding of animal science."
