Gain experience in our canine and equine therapy centres. Develop essential business skills and work with a range of animals on site. You’ll also undertake scientific research in an area you’re passionate about. Develop your expertise in the fundamental areas of animal therapy including working with both the animal and human. You’ll develop valuable therapeutic knowledge, working as part of multi disciplinary teams in our equine and canine therapy centres. This includes working with veterinary professionals, hydrotherapists and nutritionists to promote the optimal health or performance of different animals. You’ll tailor your degree to suit your interests and career aspirations, and gain plenty of industry insights ready for your career. Industry opportunities You’ll be able to gain experience in our commercial therapy centres, as well as through an integrated placement year in industry. We have strong industry connections and host regular guest lectures. We also have professionals running practical demonstrations on a regular basis. This course is ideal for those who have an interest in animal therapy as part of veterinary rehabilitation and want to study an applied degree whilst being exposed to industry practice.
