Work in practice to developyour skills, confidence, and knowledge and qualifyas a RegisteredVeterinaryNurse with the RCVS. You could even go onto studyone of our Postgraduate Certificates and progressyour career withinyour specialist area. Train to be a Veterinary Nurse whilst working in an RCVS-approved veterinary nursing training practice. You’ll be able to specialise your training in equine or small animal veterinary nursing. You could benefit from access to outstanding facilities alongside your diploma, including a Veterinary Nursing Clinical Skills Centre, equine and canine therapy centres, small animal house, hydrotherapy treadmill and pool, and commercial farm. Our teaching team is both qualified and experienced – all RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurses with industry experience. Industry opportunities You’ll spend a minimum of four days each week working in your practice, supported by your clinical coach and personal tutor. Your learning will then be delivered on campus for one day each week. You'll also complete between three and five hours of learning per week via our virtual learning hub. This course is ideal for those who want to qualify as a Veterinary Nurse whilst working full time in an RCVS-approved Veterinary Nurse training practice.
